About MahhaYatrah — Storytellers Who Happen to Use Technology
Where an Old Story Found a New Voice
Every household in India has its own version of the Ramayana — maybe it was a comic book with dog-eared corners, maybe it was a grandmother retelling the story from memory, maybe it was a TV serial watched as a family on Sunday mornings. Somewhere in the last two decades, that shared ritual started slipping away, replaced by shorter attention spans and screens that rarely ask anything meaningful of the people holding them.
We started MahhaYatrah to put something back.
Our first real product wasn’t a temple experience or a travel package — it was a simple question: what if the Ramayana could be seen in reality differently and not just on normal videos, not just read? That question became the Ramayana AR Cards, a set of illustrated cards that turn into three-dimensional, animated scenes the moment you scan them. No lecture, no forced reading assignment — just a story that shows up and asks to be watched.
Our Mission
To revolutionize spiritual exploration by making mythology real, immersive, and unforgettable.
This isn’t just technology. This is devotion, reborn.

Our Story
MAHHAYATRAH was born from the realization that religious tourism lacks interactivity and that mythology, which has deep spiritual value, is often reduced to textbook reading. By leveraging VR technology, we are revolutionizing the way people experience Hindu spirituality.
Our Leadership
The Gap We Noticed
Religious and mythological learning in most Indian homes today happens in one of two ways: a rushed bedtime paraphrase, or a textbook chapter memorised for an exam and then forgotten. Neither leaves much room for a child — or honestly, an adult — to actually feel what happened in the forest of Dandaka, or understand why Bharata refused the throne.
We built our AR cards to sit in that gap. Not to replace scripture, not to replace the storytellers in every family, but to give the story a format that competes fairly for attention in a world full of competing formats.
Our Approach
We treat every card as a small piece of craftsmanship — the illustration, the animation, the narration, and the moment it’s tied to all have to earn their place in the set. We’re not trying to cram the entire Valmiki Ramayana into a deck of cards. We’re choosing the moments that matter most, and giving them the kind of presentation they deserve.
Our Customers Views
I have been to many temples, but this was something special. I saw Lord Ram walking in Ayodhya, just like in the Ramayana. It felt real! Everyone should try this once.
Rajesh Verma
I always heard stories about Mahabharata, but today, I stood on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. I saw Lord Krishna speaking to Arjuna. It was like being inside the story. Amazing experience!
Ananya Sharma
I have prayed to Lord Krishna for years, but today, I felt like I met him. Watching the Bhagavad Gita in front of my eyes was like travelling back in time. So beautiful!
